Two Albright Care Services employees were honored with awards at the Albright Care Services Annual Meeting, held May 16th at Normandie Ridge Senior Living Community in York. Albright Care Services board members were also recognized for years of service at the meeting.
Danielle Kozen, Enrichment Assistant at the Normandie Ridge nursing care center, received a Best of the Best Award. Dave Bell, Community Enrichment Director, said, “Danielle exemplifies what we stand for at Albright Care Services. She connects with our residents on a personal level. In the eight years she has been with us, I have never heard a resident, family member or co-worker say a negative word about Danielle. She is truly loved here.” Kozen was honored to receive the award, “The residents make it very easy to do this job, so I want to take time to thank them.”
Also winning a Best of the Best Award was Pieper Renfrew, Medical Technician, Program Assistant and Driver at Albright LIFE Lancaster. Albright LIFE Lancaster Program Director Kyle Clemmer said, “Pieper is working in a number of roles, including assisting participants with home care. Pieper is doing a great job and the staff has nothing but praise for how well she runs the clinic. She truly cares about the people she is serving. Renfrew said, “I appreciate this award very much. I am working to further my knowledge, and my goal is to grow within the Albright Care Services organization.”
Several Albright Care Services board members were recognized for their years of service. Receiving three year certificates were Rev. Dr. G. Edwin Zeiders, Ty Trainor and Jane Taylor. Rev. Keith Schmuck received a certificate for six years of service and Thomas C. Graver Jr. was recognized for nine years of service to the Board of Trustees.
